Ultimate Washer 2
Release Candidate 2

Introduction

Ultimate Washer is a freely distributed software by OGnizer, please see License for further detail. It searches for TRUE duplicate files using byte comparison method to ensure high level accuracy that is fully configurable in the range from 95% to 100%. STOP wasting your hard drive space with full of duplicate files that is spread all over. Ultimate Washer also allows you to find any duplicate of a file not only in Local Hard Drive but also Floopy Disk, Flash Disk, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, Network drives and many others.

Another significant feature of the Ultimate Washer is its viruses/worms removal tool. It doesn’t need the virus definition because it scans for viruses/worms based on the given sample file. How it works: It scans all files and compares it with the sample you entered; since it uses byte by byte comparison algorithm it will find any duplicate files regardless filename or extension name. The way viruses/worms work is by multiplying/replicating itself to many different directories, writing to your registry and uploading itself to process list. For example, if you enter a sample name myfile.jpg and if after scanning Ultimate Washer found many duplicate of this file on many directories with different name, then you can be sure that all those files are infected.

If used properly, it can remove almost all kind of worms/virus in your system easily. Tweaking your system settings is also only a few clicks away.

In addition, it has a random generated title feature like you see on the snapshot below, so that viruses/worms will not be able to block user from running Ultimate Washer. What does it mean? Many viruses/worms usually block Antivirus based on their name, so this is the reason why users are often unable to open task manager, antivirus or even get their computer restarted.

  1. Using this software:

A.      Searching for any duplicated files.

-          Enter the sample file then hit the scan button.

-          If the scanned file falls into the similarity range, it would be added to the list.

B.     Find all infected files in your system using a sample virus file.

-          The way viruses work is to replicate itself to many places with different name and extension so that user will not be aware of its present.

-          This tool searches your system for files that match your sample file based on the range you specified.

-          To use this tool you must know which file is the virus. One of the easiest way is to look on your system process list and find all suspicious process. The second way to identify a virus file is to see your file type. Right click on the directory browser, select view and select detail. Pay attention on the file type, if you see a file with one of these icons below, BUT the file type is application then the file is 99% a virus.

Once you’ve located the file, put it in the sample box then hit the scan button.

-          If the scan result returns multiple files inside unusually many directories, then those files more likely to be virus.

-          If you are not sure whether the file is a virus or not, you may submit your file to our experts at http://virus.ognizer.net.
